We must overcome the crisis of confidence that undoubtedly exists. The poor turnout at the elections of this Parliament is a symptom of this, and to overcome it, we must act fully in accordance with the will of our electorate. We must also perhaps avoid making comparisons: your country borders Norway; I live near Switzerland. They are outside the European Union, but they live well all the same; they have the same problems, but they are no worse off than us, and here it is important to see and to demonstrate that it is worth having the European Union.

Further evidence has emerged of collusion between far-right racist elements and UKIP's EFD group in the European Parliament.

The involvement of the BNP in the EFD's Turkish Assesment Group has raised eyebrows in the UK and Brussels, but now we can see an even clearer picture emerging.

Vlaams Belang, the Slovak National Party, and the Austrian Freedom Party have all been involved in a 2 day conference to discuss Turkish accession to the EU. Also present were the delightfully named convicted racist and fan of Nazi marching songs Morten Messerschmidt (often referred to by Farage as "Harry Heinkel") and Fiorello Provera of Lega Nord, the particularly vile racist party whose members espouse the idea of racial segregation on public transport. Both are members of Farage's EFD group.

Nice company you keep, Nigel. Our country fought a war against this scum just 70 years ago.

Firello PROVERA is a member of the vile racist, sexually intollerant, xenophobic Lega Nord, which not only espouses and incites violence in pursuit of its political aims but also practices such violence. This Italian party expelled from the Independence & Democracy Group by Farage following clear allegations of racist behaviour. That party is partly defined by its homophobia.

With hindsight it seems Farage did not act on principles but seemingly for personal gain in the IndDemGroup as he seems all too willing to prostitute his party, his Country and his principles now that it happens to suit him financially and in terms of authority in forming his squalid Pan EU Political Party grouping of The EFD.

It is also noted his untrustworthy and duplicitous little side kick Mark Croucher is also acting with Farage to assist in the promotion of this Racist homophobic claque when previously he made much of telling lies about people to try to damage them by falsely branding them as anti Jewish, BNP supporters and anti homosexual based on his own concocted lies. We note it is he who actually practices and assists these disgusting values!
Fiorello Provera is one of Lega Nord's newly elected MEPs. Speaking in the European Parliament in October 2009, he proudly exclaimed his party's support for the Lisbon Treaty;

"The Lega Nord , the party I represent, voted for the Treaty in the Italian Parliament and I personally was the rapporteur."

Lega Nord not only supports the Lisbon Treaty, THEY MADE IT HAPPEN IN ITALY!

Fiorello Provera is one of Lega Nord's newly elected MEPs. Speaking in Parliament on October 2009, he emphasised his party's support for the Lisbon Treaty whilst discussing the results of the Irish referendum:
"The Lega Nord , the party I represent, voted for the Treaty in the Italian Parliament and I personally was the rapporteur."

In December 2009 he jointly tabled - with MEPs from all the political groups - a resolution concerning the EU's relations with Belarus. The resolution:
"Calls on the Commission to prepare recommendations for the possible adoption of on visa facilitation..."
This is precisely the kind of harmonisation of immigration policy that UKIP supposes to reject. Provera tabled this resolution in the name of UKIP's EFD group.

Fiorello Provera

Fiorello Provera is the Italian MEP who steered the Lisbon Treaty through the Italian parliament, and who now sits as a member of Nigel farage's EFD group.

Signor Provera is working as hard in the interests of EU harmonisation now as ever before.

He has authored a report on EU policy and migration flows, in which he calls for more and more integration under the auspices of the EU.

He wants the Commission to oversee member state's own policies on readmission, and he "Welcomes the Commission’s recent proposals on legal migration for non-asylum seekers, and urges it to develop further instruments to establish a common immigration policy", and he also wants the EU to develop "the capacity to receive and successfully integrate migrants".
Lega Nord is an odd assortment of lunatics homophobes and racists. They are also committed to the cause of EU integration. Nigel Farage has brought UKIP into disrepute by allowing the party to sit with these dreadful people. He has also discredited UKIP's withdrawalist position to the point where no sensible person will ever believe in the party again.
