With effect from 18 January, I shall move from the EFD Group in the European Parliament to the Non-Attached Group. The latter is composed of non-aligned MEPs, independent of each other.
I have decided to move to this non-attached group as I have found it increasingly difficult to justify sitting alongside one or two of the European parties within the EFD Group who have a variety of extremist views which includes anti-Semitism, violence and the espousal of a single European policy on immigration. One of these parties, Liga Nord which was expelled from the previous Ind Dem Group, currently holds the Group Presidency jointly with UKIP.
In addition, a particular difficulty has arisen for me with the prospect of EFD joining a PAN-European Party whose aim is Party enhancement within the EU rather than extraction from it, to which I am implacably opposed.
My working relationship and trust with EFD Co-President, Nigel Farage has broken down since his personal admittance to me recently that he wished I had not been elected. The comment “I wish I had only 12 not 13 MEP`s” was made to many people in the aftermath of the European Elections. I have found this personal animosity difficult to work with.
I would also like to point out that on a pre arranged interview on the BBC West Midlands Politics Show, Mike Nattrass and I had to spent two thirds of the time defending our membership of the EFD Group and Nigel’s public remarks made about leadership candidates ‘not being credible’.
I have discussed my position at length with the Leader of UKIP, Lord Pearson, who understands my viewpoint and has assured me of his support both now and in the future in my continued work for UKIP. My move to the non-attached group therefore will not affect in any way my position as a UKIP MEP for the West Midlands.
I shall continue to work closely with my West Midlands colleague, Mike Nattrass, MEP and with UKIP's other MEPs for the promotion of UKIP's cause in the forthcoming General Election and thereafter. And I will support Nigel Farage's fight for the Buckingham seat which would be a breakthrough for UKIP and our cause. I am committed to support the West Midlands and the Party financially, as previously outlined, and indeed, hope to increase this support in the near future.
I would sincerely hope that the usual process of disinformation does not ensue. We have bigger battles to face. I would be most grateful if you would kindly contact me directly to discuss any concerns you have.

Before becoming a politician, Bossi was a sympathiser of the Italian Communist Party in his early years. After the death of Salvadori in a car accident during the summer of 1980, Bossi began focusing more on Lombardy. After two years, the Lombard autonomist league was born. In that period Bossi met his second wife, Manuela Marrone.
The Lega Lombarda would later seek alliances with similar movements in Veneto and Piedmont, forming the Northern League, of which he is still the federal secretary. He became the undisputed and unchallenged leader of the party, a position that he has maintained to this day, even after a serious stroke.
When the scandals of Tangentopoli were unveiled from 1992 on, Bossi rode the wave, presenting himself as the new man in politics, set out to sweep away corruption and incompetence. Bossi himself, however, received an eight months suspended prison sentence, along with Lega Nord's treasurer at the time of the events Alessandro Patelli, for receiving a 200-million lire bribe in a trial that sentenced also many of the politicians he routinely attacked, as Bettino Craxi, Arnaldo Forlani and others.[2] Bossi's sentence was upheld in appeals.[3]
In 1998, Bossi received a one-year suspended prison sentence for the incitement of violence after he uttered the following sentence at a Lega Nord meeting: "We must hunt down these rascals (neo-fascists), and if they take votes from us, then let's comb the area house by house, because we kicked the fascists out of here once before after the war."
While the Reforms minister in 2003 Bossi ordered the Navy to fire live rounds on boats holding illegal immigrants, stating "After the second or third warning, bang... we fire the cannon".

As we mentioned in our previous post, yesterday Italian Prime MinisterSilvio Berlusconi had to face some serious pressure from Merkel and Sarkozy. In a desperate attempt to save face, Berlusconi has just released a communiqué claiming that "no one in the EU...can lecture his partners". However, it's no secret that his French and German counterparts literally gave him three days to come up with a concrete set of reforms to enhance growth - to present at Wednesday's EU summit.
Il Cavaliere had a particularly bad EU summit yesterday, but once back in Rome, it got even worse as Berlusconi was forced to call an emergency cabinet meeting for this evening and announced a plan to raise retirement age by two years, to 67. This idea drew an immediate rebuke from junior coalition partner Lega Nord, which claims it has already made important concessions, on issues such as private sector female workers' pensions, to save Berlusconi's skin.
So, for the umpteenth time, will this be the end for Silvio? Lega Nord Senator Rosi Mauro said this morning that her party was ready to "take to the streets", should the Italian government decide to push ahead with its pensions reform plan. But most importantly, the emergency cabinet meeting (initially scheduled for 5 pm London time) has kicked off more than one hour later, because Berlusconi was stuck in a meeting with Italian Economy Minister Giulio Tremonti and Lega Nord leader Umberto Bossi (see picture). At that meeting, the latter reportedly threatened to walk out of government, should Berlusconi not drop his plan to increase the retirement age.
In most democratic countries, this would be a pretty hopeless situation for a coalition government. However, as has been made clear time and again (see here and here), the Italian Prime Minister is a man full of surprises. And in fact, two opposition parties have already hinted that they could support the proposed pensions reform (although one of the parties has made clear that Berlusconi would have to resign one minute after the reform is passed)...
P.S.: Meanwhile, Le Mondereports that, behind closed doors, eurozone officials are studying the possibility to activate the eurozone's bailout fund, the EFSF, to take over from the ECB the responsibility of purchasing Italian bonds. The Commission has already denied the reports, meaning that they might well be true...

Dansk Folkeparti and Slovakian National Party are very similar to Lega, and they are part of UKIP group. You must know that Lega is a diverse movement (not a party), with very diverse people inside that only share two common goals: better control on immigration and federalism. Yes, i cannot deny Borghezio is an asshole but is not accidental that this guy is in Brussels and not in Italy. He is an embarrasment. MEP Mario Borghezio was fined in 1993 for beating a 12 year old Moroccan child. In 2005, whilst sitting as an MEP, he was found guilty of setting fire to the belongings of immigrants under a railway bridge in Turin, during a vigilante raid. In September 2007 he was arrested by Belgian police for his part in an anti-Islamic demonstration.

The
elderly Lega Nord MEP, shows no sign of letting up his fight against
many conspiracies. Recently, he asked Daniel Estulin to address a press
conference on the Bilderberg Group, a meeting of influential people who
either discuss the issues of the day or are a race of twelve foot high
lizard men who rule the world, depending on whom you believe.
Borghezio spoke sportively as his guest many many outrageous claims,
including that the Bilderberg Group was founded in 1439, not 1954 and
were responsible for the Black Death, which they unleashed between 1348
and 1350. Having confronted the Earthly powers, the MEP is now turning
his sights towards the heavens. He has just put down a written
declaration, no 57/10, asking for "public archives on UFOs to be opened
up and for records to be declassified by the Member States, thus
providing the public and the mass media with access to the full range
of documentation on the subject".
Some governments have opened up the files, notably the British who
have also ceased collecting reports as they felt there was no value in
them. The French also opened up their files. However, many defence
ministries would feel uncomfortable at allowing parliamentarians access
to their classified files. Others wonder how this demand fits in with a
party and Group that is constantly arguing against what it sees as EU interference in member states.
Borghezio feels there is something to hide as his declaration also
states, "many members of the scientific community have been looking
into the issue of UFOs and have denounced the systematic covering-up of
information on the subject". These disgruntled investigators remain
unnamed. the MEP's thoughts are, as ever, for the benefit of humanity
as the declaration goes on to say that, "a study of the material collected by the governments of all the Member States would have major scientific and technological spinoffs".
As the EU promotes 'Green jobs' as a way out of the current
financial crisis, the Deputy seems to be advocating 'Little Green Men
jobs'.

Giancarlo Gentilini, Lega Nord's Mayor of Treviso, is notorious for having said said of immigrants, that "we should dress them up like hares and bang-bang-bang".
However, Gentilini also declared, at a rally in Padania in 2008, that "We must cleanse our streets of the black-skinned, the yellow-skinned, the Roma … I would have all the immigrants put on file, one by one. Unfortunately, this is not allowed by the law. They are the carriers of all sorts of diseases, tuberculosis, Aids, scabies, hepatitis."
As a result he was convicted of "inciting racial hatred", and banned from speaking at political meetings.
Lega Nord was expelled from Farage's Ind Dem group back in 2006.
Now they are back, in the EFD group, and Farage says that they have "behaved themselves since the expulsion".
Have they, Nigel?
Since the expulsion, Gentili has been convicted of incitement to racial hatred, MEP Mario Borghezio has been arrested for "racial offences" by Belgian police (2007), and last year, Matteo Salvini, (one of the MEPs expelled by Farage), has called for"racialsegregation" on Italian public transport, and has appeared on you tube chanting racist slogans with football supporters.

Do you notice a trend here, Nigel? These are not parking tickets - these are all RACIALLY MOTIVATED ACTS.

And as for the other MEPs, only Nikki Sinclaire and Mike Nattrass had the guts to stand up and speak out. The rest of them must surely now by so tainted by their continued, financially motivated association with the EFD, that no self-respecting UKIPPER would now consider campaigning for them.

Farage's
controversial far-right group in the European Parliament is struggling
to survive. Now we learn of another scandal that will have UKIP members
hopping mad. The convicted racist and child abuser, Mario
Borghezio, is one of the most prominent, and nastiest, of the EFD's
Italian delegation, Lega Nord. This is a party whose members espouse
racial segregation on public transport, and whose chaplain is a
notorious holocaust denier. We learn that Borghezio has been on the
campaign trail recently with none other than French Front Nationale
leader Marine le Pen. Le Pen and Borghezio arrived on the
Italian island of Lampedusa, and declared that Europe risked being
swamped by North African boat people. "Europe can't welcome
everyone . . . We would be pleased to take them all in our boat, but
it's not big enough. We'll all go to the bottom. We would be adding one
misery to another," she said. They were welcomed
on Lampedusa by the island's mayor, Bernardino De Rubeis, who represents

EFD group is unlikely to survive the year, and Farage knows this. This
is why he is so desperate to take UKIP into a pan-EU political party,
even against the wishes of the party membership. This would mean UKIP
betraying its core values, and accepting the priciples of the EU, but
that is irellevant to Farage, who cares only about the extra money he
can make. He is also banking on using a pan-EU party as a vehicle to
ensure that he can spend the rest of his career in the EU parliament.

Convicted
racist and child abuser Mario Borghezio sits in Nigel Farage's EFD
group in the European Parliament. He has been implicated in various
far-right and neo-Nazi groups over the years, and was recently filmed
telling young facists how to infiltrate mainstream political
organisations. Nigel Farage has some truly interesting friends in
Europe, and we can learn a lot about his true beliefs when we look at
the filth and scum that he gravitates towards.
Now Borghezio has called for the abolition of 'Liberation Day' (April 25th).
This
is the day when Italians mark the liberation of their country from the
facists and Nazis. Borghezio, however, seems to prefer fascism and
Nazism to liberation.
British people, and UKIP members in
particular, might ask why UKIP is sitting alongside such a vile and
violent extremist. Borghezio's violence is generally aimed at those much
weaker than himself, of course. He attacked a 12 year old child, and
once set fire to the belongings of a sleeping homeless immigrant.
Borghezio
is a disgustingly fat man who wheezes as he struggles to walk, and it
is unlikely that he would ever dare to confront an adult male.

Italian politician, member of the Northern League, and member of the
European Parliament’s Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home
Affairs, Mario Borghezio, was beaten and arrested by Bilderberg Security
yesterday as he attempted to enter the meeting and protest its
secretive globalist agenda. He was reportedly accompanied by other EU
members.
Remarkably, Borghezio’s maltreatment went unreported in the United
States. This would be analogous to the beating of a member of Congress
going unreported by the media.
The Italian media reported last night that Borghezio attempted to
enter the Bilderberg meeting now underway at the Hotel Sourvette in St.
Moritz and his treatment by security resulted in a bloody nose. The
Italian politician told JulieNews he plans to press charges against
Bilderberg security.
“I have been assisted by the Swiss police, but the treatment suffered by the security of the meeting was brutal,” he said.
Borghezio said he opposes Bilderberg because it makes important
decisions without popular control. “It is clear that the Bildergberg
Club is a secret society,” had added.

An ally of Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi has triggered a storm of protest after he described as “excellent” some of Norwegian terrorism suspect Anders Behring Breivik’s ideas.
Mario Borghezio, a European Parliament member for the anti-immigration Northern League, said he agreed with Breivik’s “opposition to Islam and his explicit accusation that Europe has surrendered before putting up a fight against its Islamisation.”
Borghezio
told the host of talk radio programme La Zanzara that he did not agree
with Breivik”s use of violence, nor with the “Protestant” Norwegian”s “anti-Papist” stance.
But he said that “some of the ideas (of Breivik”s) are good, in certain cases even excellent.”
The Northern League is the junior partner in Berlusconi’s conservative government.
The centre-left opposition called for Borghezio to resign from the European Parliament.
“It
is a matter of shame for all of us that a representative of the ruling
coalition made apologetic remarks about one of the cruelest acts of
terrorism,” said the Democratic Party”s David Sassoli and the Italy of
Values party”s Niccolo Rinaldi, both European parliamentarians.
If
terrorist Breivik would not have seen so horribly “Protestant”about
the pope, one suspects, Borghezio might have called Breivik’s mass
killing of Social Democratic children, after all nothing but “cultural

On the atrocities in Norway, and the response of the Lega Nord MEP Mario Borghezio
My
heart goes out to the victims of the atrocities that took place in
Norway last week, and to their families. There can be no excuses, no
justifications, this was nothing but an act of pure and unmitigated
evil.
In
protest against violent right-wing extremism, I resigned from UKIP's
political group in the European Parliament, the Europe of Freedom &
Democracy (EFD). I particularly cited the racism and homophobia
prevelant in the Italian Lega Nord. As a result of my stand, I had the
UKIP party whip withdrawn by the party leadership.
In
the wake of this vile mass murder, one of those Lega Nord MEPs I
particularly objected to, Mario Borghezio, a man with at least two
convictions for racially motivated violence, including an assualt on a
child, has gone on record as supporting the murderer Breivik. He stated
that “One hundred per cent of Breivik’s ideas are good, in some
cases extremely good. The positions of Breivik reflect the views of
those movements across Europe which are winning elections.”
I
now call upon UKIP MEPs to distance themselves from this objectionable
political group, of which Lega Nord is not the only party to contain
members with racial convictions. As 76 families mourn their loved ones,
now is the moment for UKIP MEPs to take stock, and act on their
conscience, rather than remain in a political group with such
extremists, purely on the grounds that they can earn more money by doing
so.

In July 2005, Mario Borghezio was found guilty of arson, having set fire to the belongings ofsome immigrants while they were sleeping under a bridge in Turin during a vigilanteraid. For this he was sentenced to two months and twenty days imprisonment, whichhe avoided by paying a fine.
In September 2007, Mario Borghezio was arrested by Belgian police during an unauthorisedanti-Islamic demonstration in Brussels.

Did Farage sell out putting EFD before principles & UKIP over mass-murder & sympathiser Mario Borghezio?

has written very eloquently on here about the way Nigel Farage has
handled the outrage over the remarks about the Breivik atrocities by the
Northern League's Mario Borghezio and Francesco Speroni. According to a
report in the Italian media (Lettera 42) (link here: Euroscettici inglesi contro Borghezio - ATTUALITA ) matters were supposed to come to a head during the week of 24-27 October.
Here is a translation of the report:
British Eurosceptics against BorghezioCall for Northern League’s expulsion from the European Group EFD.
Inside or outside. The fate of the Northern League MEP from Piedmont,
Mario Borghezio; by the end of October, the party must decide what to
do.
Keep him in or put him out of the EFD Group, Europe of Freedom and
Democracy? Clamouring for his head are the British eurosceptic UKIP,
prime force of the group, tired of the 'performance' of Borghezio and,
more particularly, much annoyed by his statements on the killer of Oslo,
Breivik, which had also provoked his suspension from the Northern
League. For those words Borghezio has been suspended by the League and
also, on September 13 last, the EFD, but a yellow card is not enough,
they want him to be expelled.
"UKIP", reads a letter sent to their Italian colleagues, “calls on the
Northern League to ask Borghezio to leave the EFD Group and go
non-attached before the end of the legislature."
The decision will be made during the plenary session of October 24 to
27. "The UKIP delegation UKIP," said its leader Nigel Farage, is "very,
very unhappy about Borghezio."
BETWEEN UFOs AND BURNED CLOTHES
The letter cited the MEP’s interests in "UFOs and the Bilderberg Group"
and his act of "burning the clothes of immigrant children." But the
straw that broke UKIP was "his comments and his timing about the
Norwegian murderer Breivik" that "exceeded all bounds." Borghezio is
accused of damaging the "reputation of other members of the group" with
words that "will be used" against them "in the European elections of
2014."
THE DECISION OF THE LEAGUE
Now the ball is in the Northern League’s court, because Borghezio has no
intention of taking a step back. "Just think, if I resign," he says by
phone from the U.S. "I had a vote of 50 000 Padanians to represent the
people proudly in Europe." For him the case was closed with an apology
to the Norwegian ambassador in Italy, but not for the British, while the
Leaguist Francesco Speroni, EFD co-leader, tries to pour water on the
fire. "It is not yet closed, but neither is it said that you get to the
most extreme solution." That is, the expulsion of Borghezio.
THE STATUTE OF THE WAR CHARIOT
According to statute, this (expulsion of a member) is decided by the
affirmative vote of two thirds of the members. Speroni’s impression is
that “from rumours, I do not think that there are the numbers, but if
they all agree, the League will not have enough to save it (8 out of 27,
Borghezio not voting - ed)."
Saving Borghezio means not to continue living with British colleagues. "If they insist," Speroni affirms constantly, “the group ends;
it goes if just four jump from the EFD." In short, a delicate situation
that, as UKIP asks, must be decided by the League. "But this would be a
decision to be taken higher than me," admits Speroni, meaning the
League’s party headquarters in Milan’s Via Bellerio.
So, it appears quite clearly from this report that Farage was to have
been presented with a straight choice on the week of 24-27 October -
Borghezio's expulsion or the EFD's survival. Principles or presidential
position. His co-president, Mad Frankie Speroni, was telling him bluntly
that he couldn't have both. Three weeks later, a look at the European
Parliament's website shows that the EFD still exists and that Lega Nord
MEPs, including Borghezio, are still being listed as part of it.
Farage and the rest of the UKIP MEPs appear to have kept very quiet
about all of this, which is remarkable, because if the above report is
accurate (and, as Speroni is quoted at length in it, there is plenty of
evidence that it is), then the much-debated EFD faced nothing short of
an existential crisis and, moreover, Farage was on the face of it making
a great point of principle over Borghezio's future in the group. But
since the whole furore over Borghezio and Speroni's comments first
erupted, we have seen several examples of Farage huffing and puffing
about it, only to do very little, if anything at all, when it comes to
the crunch. Mad Frankie Speroni's own comments, for example, were
initially condemned, alongside demands for apologies and retractions,
and then quickly and entirely forgotten.
Another pattern one can glean is that Farage has been quite sly about
making threats that are either unrealistic or else are not what they
initially seem. For example, his initial threat was that UKIP MEPs would
suspend their membership of the EFD if no apologies and retractions
were forthcoming from Speroni and Borghezio. But that was never going to
happen, a) because examination of the EFD Group's statutes show that
there is no mechanism for voluntary suspension of membership and b)
because, of course, if UKIP MEPs had nonetheless left the group, however
temporarily, the EFD's membership would have dropped way below the
required minimum and it would have collapsed immediately.
Now one might possibly detect another "all is not what it seems moment".
The clue is in Farage's most peculiar demand that the Lega Nord asks
Borghezio "to leave the EFD Group and go non-attached before the end of the legislature."
That gives the League until June 2014!
If that is correct, they are
Farage's most weasel words yet on the shabby affair. Perhaps Speroni has
quietly promised that Borghezio will leave the EFD quietly near the end
of parliament, when it will not greatly matter, and Farage has in
return promised to drop the whole issue, content in the knowledge that
he can whip out the above mentioned letter at any moment, should any
more inconvenient publicity arise.
In any event, one thing is clear - Borghezio is still in the EFD Group.
So just what did happen on 24-27 October, or at any other time
subsequent to the above media report? We should be told.

EU: BORGHEZIO REINSTATED IN EU PARLIAMENT GROUPEFD had suspended sentence after the Oslo massacre BRUSSELS – A three-month ban discounted, Mario Borghezio is
officially reinstated in the EFD Group, Europe of Freedom and
Democracy. The penalty was taken in the summer for the statements of
the Piedmont MEP about the instigator of the Oslo massacre, Anders
Breivik. Borghezio said he considered his ideas “good” and “shared”
them, but then, also considering the controversy, apologised to the
Norwegian Ambassador to Italy. For those expressions, Borghezio was
suspended by the league and then, in parallel, from the Northern League
team in Europe. On 13 September the British eurosceptic UKIP, the largest party
of the EFD, had also sent an ultimatum to League colleagues asking
openly for Borghezio’s resignation from the group. 'His presence was
considered “too high a price to pay'' and a weapon that the British
press could use against UKIP “in the 2014 European elections''. But the
threats were revoked this week, because the resignation or expulsion
of Borghezio would put at risk the survival of the group, just two
deputies over the minimum threshold of 25 members.
As I said in opening this thread, Farage had a straight choice -
"Borghezio's expulsion or the EFD's survival. Principles or presidential
position". He has taken the selfish and cowardly options. His various
outpourings of fake disgust and feigned outrage at Borghezio's
statements have proved to be not worth the paper they were written on.
He has managed to be spectacularly stupid, too, because, having long
brushed off or denied allegations that he was sitting with extremists in
the EFD Group, he has committed to paper an admission of previous acts
by Borghezio, such as setting fire to the clothes of immigrant
children, and yet he has signalled that despite such criminal and
extremist acts he is still prepared to sit in the same group as
Borghezio, indeed to be president of that group.
The other damning point to emerge from Farage's weasel-worded letter to
Speroni is this - Farage has admitted in writing that he recognises
that Borghezio's continued presence in the EFD could be used by the
press against UKIP in 2014, and yet ultimately he is not prepared to do
anything about it. Ultimately, he is even prepared to knowingly
imperil the party's election prospects if they come between him and his
precious group of extremists and pro-Europeans. The message is that
Farage values his position as EFD President above his responsibilities
as UKIP leader.
In cowardly fashion, Farage threw the ball into the Lega Nord's court,
surely knowing that two Padanian fingers would be the only response. But
the power to do something remains in Farage's own hands. In the
immediate aftermath of Borghezio and Speroni's foul remarks about the
Norwegian atrocities, he was quite unequivocal about both
Lega Nord MEPs. "I have written to the leadership of the Northern
League party to demand an immediate full retraction and apology", said
Farage on the UKIP website. "If my request is not met, then we will
suspend our membership of the EFD group." Four months later, there has
been no full retraction from either Borghezio or Speroni, but both of
them remain in the EFD Group, UKIP MEPs remain in the EFD Group, and
Mad Frankie Speroni even continues to be EFD Co-President alongside
Farage. Indeed, Speroni's part in this scandal was forgotten by Farage
within days and all attention, such as it was, was focussed on
Borghezio. As soon as it became clear that Farage's call for
"immediate" retractions was just bluster, Speroni was able to laugh in
the face of any further idle threats that followed from his
co-president over the ensuing months.
As the EU descends into chaos and imposes its unelected "prime
ministers" on previously democratic member states in ever more desperate
attempts to avert the crisis, and while Cameron, Clegg and Miliband
gaze on cluelessly, the people of Britain are crying out for real
leaders. Real tests of leadership are not about who can fire easy shots
on YouTube. The Borghezio-Speroni Scandal was a true test of moral and
political leadership and Farage comprehensively bottled it. It called
for a man, and Farage has shown he is a mouse.
I shall take the liberty of permitting a commentator on UKIP & The
EFD to put his point of view and factual links confirming the vile

which UKIP are founding members of!

I have reported Mario Borghezio’s extraordinary racist outburst on Italian
radio in the aftermath of Obama’s re-election. This was preceded a few days
earlier by his appearance on the platform of an extremist rally in the South of
France, where the carte blanche given to him by Farage’s failure to act on the Breivik
remarks was also played to maximum and horrifying effect.
Borghezio delivered a racist rant to the annual conference of “Bloc
Identitaire”, a far-right and openly racist French outfit which, amongst other
things, cynically distributes pork soup each winter on the streets of cities
from Marseille to Antwerp (the latter with the help of their Flemish racist
allies, Godfrey Bloom’s EAF colleagues the Vlaams Belang), thus cruelly and
deliberately excluding Jews and Muslims from their act of “charity”.
Borghezio’s shocking speech has been widely reported in Italian, French, Swiss,
Spanish and German media. Several begin with the observation that
"“hundreds of far-right activists have cheered the Italian Northern League
MEP, Mario Borghezio, for openly racist sentiments."

various reports, I have collected the following shameful quotations:

expressed his regrets for the anti-semitic and collaborationist writer Robert Brasillach,
who was shot at the end of the Second World War for sharing intelligence with
the enemy. "To enthuse ourselves, we must be poets like Brasillach"
he interjected, to shouts of "Mario, Mario, Mario ..."
This is the price of your EFD presidential position in Brussels, Nigel Farage.

The full consequences of Nigel Farage’s moral
cowardice during last year’s “Breivikgate” scandal are now starting to be felt.
Readers will recall how Farage was panicked into an attempt to limit the PR
fallout from comments made by his racist EFD Group colleague Mario Borghezio in
praise of the ideas of Oslo mass murderer Anders Breivik, by threatening first
to suspend UKIP’s membership of the EFD and then demanding Borghezio’s
expulsion from it, if the Italian did not issue a full retraction and apology –
only to sweep the whole matter under the carpet, without any such apology or
retraction forthcoming, when Borghezio’s Lega Nord colleagues threatened to
walk out en masse and bring about the end of the whole group (president: one
N.Farage).
Thus Borghezio was given carte blanche to develop his ideas with impunity. Oh
boy, has he accepted it. He made a start by repeating his support for Breivik’s
ideas several weeks ago, but in the last few days he has taken his Farage-given
freedom to express his disgusting beliefs to quite extraordinary new levels.
Fresh from his racist rant at an extremist rally in the South of France (see

the previous weekend, he gave a foul-mouthed and equally racist interview last
Thursday to Italy’s Radio 24, which has reached the ears of a shocked American
media.
The International Business Times’ US edition reports that Borghezio gave us the
following pearls of extremist wisdom:
·"They've
chosen one of their own. Multiracial America has won, which I can't f*cking
stand, to use a diplomatic term."
·"Behind
Romney you could see a beautiful, white, Christian America."
·“At the
time of the Civil War I would have been a Southern hardliner. Who hasn't seen
Gone With The Wind and identified themselves with those extraordinary Southern
heroes against those Northern sh*tty faces?"
·The Ku
Klux Klan is “prospering more than ever! (It) may have exaggerated a
little," Borghezio admitted. But that was for a reason, in his view:
"It’s all born of the resistance against a multiracial society."
·"It's
a little like it was with Clinton: some complete f*cking nobody who suddenly
becomes a great figure," said Borghezio, "(Obama) was a petty lawyer
who defended the rights of blacks and nobody knew who the f*ck he was (…) but
then he became the puppet of big lobbies."
The website also reports an earlier incident where Borghezio “was once filmed,
during a vigilante raid against prostitutes, spraying water on African women to
"cleanse them"”.
I hope Mr Farage is proud of his cowardice. But surely he cannot sit in the
same grouping as this appalling man any longer. If Farage’s regard for his
“presidential” position in Brussels continues to prevent him taking swift
action, perhaps his UKIP MEP colleagues will take it for him.
Sadly
several supporters of UKIP have stepped forward in support of the
odious racist Borghezio on Anthony Butcher's sordid forum which
willingly supports and harbours lies, distortions and corruption and the
defamatory and unethical cowardly members too ashamed to use their own
names as they befoul the site and demean UKIP, destroying its
credibility!
